Turning a private travel brand into a luxury experience
GoKoreaGo curates private, high-end journeys through Korea — but its old website looked like a budget tour operator. I rebuilt it into something that finally matched the exclusivity of the brand.

GoKoreaGo sells discreet, high-end private journeys — the kind of service that starts at thousands of dollars per person. But the old site was busy, bright and generic: stock-style layouts, cluttered sections and a tone that said “budget tour package,” not “reserved for the few.” The website was actively undercutting the brand’s premium positioning.
A complete redesign built around restraint and atmosphere: a dark, editorial theme, serif display typography with gold accents, full-bleed imagery, and generous space that lets the brand breathe. I restructured the whole journey — entrances, commitments, tiers and enquiry — so the experience feels as considered as the trips themselves, all on a fast, editable WordPress build.
How a website starts to feel expensive
Dark, not bright
A deep, moody palette instantly reads as premium — luxury rarely shouts in white and blue.
Editorial typography
Serif display type with gold accents gives the brand authority and a sense of heritage.
Atmosphere over stock
Full-bleed, cinematic imagery sells the feeling of the journey, not just the itinerary.
A considered journey
Every section is paced and spaced so browsing the site feels as curated as the trips.
